Store molto serio. Consigliato!

Constant updates and maximum availability, even if necessary to cancel the order and make a refund. Room arrived at the end, excellent packaging and excellent shipment tracking. Recommended!

Nice place, a lot of photographic gear available. Crew very nice and professional, just doesn't have very strong English skills. But nothing is impossible with Google Translate and two professionals :)

The seller don’t send the product. I bought a sony objetive that it costed more than 700 euros and he doesn’t answer any email. Don’t buy nothing here if you don’t want lost your money.

I’m very sorry to say: Go elsewhere. I’ll preface this by saying I don’t speak Italian and the employees in the shop when I went in didn’t speak English. Attempting to buy several thousands of dollars of camera equipment makes this scenario already complicated. I expected as much. And I never really leave reviews on anything, but this experience was just bizarre. I don’t know if it was because I was a foreigner, a woman, a hobby photographer, or the shop staff is always this way, but I can say that this shop was incredibly short-tempered and unkind. Think the ego of the the record shop in the book/movie High Fidelity in all the wrong ways. I was looking to buy a last-minute high-end camera because I’d left mine at home thousands of miles away, and an upcoming last-minute trip necessitated something much better than my phone camera. I went in knowing exactly which camera I wanted (I’d been researching the camera part for years), but was interested in learning more about lenses. The staff were not interested in discussing any details other than price. They seemed flabbergasted that I wanted to hold the camera and test lenses that they had on display, as if I was really putting them out. I’ve bought a fair share of DSLR and mirrorless cameras in the past, and never have I come across a shop that didn’t want to let you discuss and test the options first. Most camera store professionals I’ve met want to make sure you’re buying the right equipment for your needs as much as you do. Not here. The icing on the cake was overhearing the clerk make loud frustrated comments to his snickering employees at my very straightforward questions between which lenses they recommend based on my needs, at which point I decided to take my business elsewhere (and after, when I asked about pricing, the clerk wrote pricing down but refused to hand me the sheet of paper with prices and got incredibly frustrated that I even asked). They would have been a slightly cheaper option, but I ended up going to a different camera store on via Ferrante Imparato with incredibly kind and helpful staff, who gave me their personal number to ask them any questions after my purchase. I was happy to pay more for a helpful, friendly experience for such a considerable investment.

Being both a modern digital and a vintage analogue photographer I found this little shop in extremely beautiful surroundings a hidden gem in the middle of Naples high street, Via Toledo. First of all you are met by an awesome view of the Galleria Umberto I before you enter the shop, so inspiration to start snapping starts even before you start shopping for equipment. Just take a look at the picture I took with my camera phone when I first entered Galleria Umberto I. Simply breathtaking. The reason for going there was to find a new prime normal for my Canon EOS 5D Mark II, namely the Canon EF 40mm f2,8 pancake. Since it went out of production last year I hoped to find a good second hand 40mm in the shop, I that's exactly what I found. In spotless condition. The price was right after short talk, so I walked happily out of there with the perfect lens for street photography in Naples without "emptying my account". In other words, they where flexible in dealing with me. Very happy with both service and product, event though the conversation was a bit difficult since I don't speak much Italian, and they don't speak any of the languages I speak (English, German and all Scandinavian languages). But hey, we live in 2022 and I have several translation apps on my phone that works well in situations like this. People complains about the staff not speaking English, but if you're capable of handling a complicated DSLR you should be able to sort this out with a cheap smart phone. Speaking 5 languages quite well, I think I should be the one complaining, not a tourist only being able to speak his' or her's own language. But I don't, 'cause "when In Rome do like the Romans". If not, let modern tech take care of it. The main selling point for visiting this shop is the lovely second hand section. Among both 35mm cameras and lenses I also found medium format cameras and gear. The drooling continues long after leaving the shop. I even found a Leicaflex SL camera house, the first I've seen in a shop in a long time. Since I am going to spend a lot of time in Naples this year, the staff should be prepared to see me again. So all in all, this is a shop worth visiting for both analogue aficionados like me, and digital snappers looking for pro and enthusiast models from major brands like Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm and Olympus. I didn't look to much at the new equipment, but from a short glance it seemed like they had several models I would trade in my aging full format digital SLR with. Grazie mille, and arrivederci.
