Un luogo in cui si recuperano ritmi umani, dove stacchi dalla vita frenetica ed entri in una dimensione umana di rispetto e dignità. Persone meravigliose ci hanno preso per mano e accompagnati in questo percorso difficile. I had my father who made his end of life journey in this facility. A place where human rhythms are recovered, where you disconnect from the hectic life and enter a human dimension of respect and dignity. Wonderful people took us by the hand and accompanied us on this difficult path.

Sebbene le circostanze fossero tristi e difficili da affrontare, questo luogo mi ha fatto apprezzare, con insperata soavità, la dimensione della continuità tra vita e morte. Dopo un anno e mezzo di malattia terribile gestita e vissuta in modo traumatico, 30 giorni in questa meravigliosa struttura sono serviti a mio fratello per ricevere attenzioni amorevoli, cure e carezze quotidiane sempre date con empatia e tanto cuore. E sono serviti a noi per ritrovare il respiro a lungo trattenuto nella solitudine in cui si viene abbandonati durante la malattia. Ringrazio tutte le infermiere che hanno regalato a me e a mia mamma sorrisi, incoraggiamenti e comprensione senza mai stancarsi. E per aver fatto sorridere mio fratello finché ha potuto. Ringrazio la dott.ssa Nives e la dott.ssa Margherita per non averci mai lasciate sole e per aver supportato tutti i nostri momenti di disperazione e di difficoltà. Ogni essere umano merita di trovare, nella sofferenza, persone come voi! We admitted my brother to this facility in his last month of life and it was the best choice we could have made. After a year and a half of terrible illness managed and experienced in a traumatic way, 30 days in this marvelous structure served my brother to receive loving attention, care and daily caresses always given with empathy and a lot of heart. And they helped us to find the breath held for a long time in the solitude in which we are abandoned during illness. I thank all the nurses who have given me and my mom smiles, encouragement and understanding without ever getting tired. And for making my brother smile while he could. I thank Dr. Nives and Dr. Margherita for never leaving us alone and for having supported all our moments of despair and difficulty. Every human being deserves to find people like you in suffering!
