★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a very clean lobby, nor was the staff very helpful. We booked last minute for a one day stop in Nepoli and we thought it would be ok, considering it's a 4 star. I'd say 3 at best considering the AC barely worked, and the WiFi didn't at all. The room, however, was clean.

I've used this hotel a few times now and on all occasions, the experience has been very good.
Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean. The restaurant is functionally very good, the location is fantastic - it's on the Bay of Naples and within short walking distance of the major attractions, including Via Vittoria.
I highly recommend Grand Hotel San Lucia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good breakfast and service. Though the room (410) and hôtel need a renewal (bathroom and finish of the rooms are getting seriously old) 516€ for 2 nights in a Deluxe room + breakfast was a bit too expensive when considering all this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well-appointed hotel overlooking the Bay of Naples and Castel dell'Ovo. Staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Room was clean, the linens were quality and amenities expected of a 4-star hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia on our way home from Capri on the 10th of October, 2021. We only stayed one night, but we wished we stayed longer. The hotel itself was immaculately clean and was a throwback to an era before boutique hotels when hotels were more stately. It was in a good section right across the street from the Port of Naples. The staff were awesome and helped us with everything from getting a car service at 4am to getting us back from the Capri ferry. They even helped us at night with some Covid docs. All very friendly and I wish I caught their names. We will be back to Capri, which means we will definitely stay here again as well on our way back. Highly recommended.
