★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service but difficult to cater to everyone's needs when we are such a large group (20+ people). The starter didn't look great but actually was very nice (see photo), the main was pork and not so good and the desert was ice cream for me so no complaints there. Nice part of Milan and smart interior.

I had RISOTTO ALLA MILANESE CON L’OSSOBUCO. The dish was very delicious. My impression on Milano is nothing is crazily delicious. Maybe it is “too much like a city” or maybe because I was in Bologna last time. Thus, it was not crazy but it was a good restaurant with a good location near la Scarla and the atmosphere was very nice as well. It would be good to have a proper lunch/dinner with family or for dating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing special, except the location - little court yard is beautiful. Fairly mediocre risotto and fillet, for the price. Didn't like dessert and returned it (maybe I didn't understand what the waiter was explaining) - however, they left it on the bill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don Lisander is a lovely restaurant, especially in spring-summer when one can eat outdoors in their beautiful courtyard.
It is hidden in the center of Milan, at a stone's throw from all the key iconic streets such as Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Piazza Scala and the Piazza Duomo.
The food is top level traditional Milanese with an added array of modern dished to the selection, yet in line with the very tradition of the italian culinary tradition (risotto, ossobuco, cotoletta, excellent fish and meat etc.all cooked and presented very well).
It is a place i take clients to for business lunches, but also a restaurant which is a wonderful setting for a romantic evening dinner.
The staff friendly and attentive confirming the level of service one would expect from this iconic restaurant amongst my favourites, for work lunches and special dinners.
Certainly a must if one wants an elegant and quiet setting for a business lunch, or simply a special beautiful setting within a quiet reserved context.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heavenly meal and the service is impeccable. I had a green salad which is very fresh and clean. The lobster linguine has a berg strong umami flavor. The broth they use to cook the linguine knocks my socks off. I am very impressed. This is what a good Italian dish is supposed to make people feel, delicious and heart warming.
