★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They do sell vegan gelato but they are definitely not a vegan friendly store. A flavor was misleadingly marked as vegan even though it contained dairy. After an in depth discussion about vegan options, they added a non vegan waffle cone on top of my gelato without even asking if I wanted it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so sad this place was closed (on a Tuesday) when I went back to get my final serving of gelato before leaving Naples. If you like dark chocolate, you must try their dark chocolate gelato. It's 78% cocoa and is phenomenal! I paired it with lemon, which is my favorite and it was perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you can consider a gelato place "up-scale," this is it. The prices are a bit higher than average, but the flavors are like eating the real thing and the servings are generous. Pistachio and stracciatella are particularly delicious.
