★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ristorante da Giovanni is a very friendly local and traditional. We visited Padua for 2 days. My husband had a delicious starter. My secondo piatto was so delicious and I struggled with the portion size. The dish was also large and whilst traditional and acceptable, my husband wouldn't choose this again. We drank local red wine which was very good. It was a lovely experience and one that I wouldn't have missed. I would recommend booking as this restaurant is popular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best food I have had in Italy. Everything was magnificent from service to food to ambience. No fuss and only the best of everything. Wines were perfect. If you are in Padua and you want the very best of Italian food and service then you won't get any better than this.
