I was there early Saturday morning, and since I was the only English speaker, I got a private guided tour. The guide was well read and the tour was very much worth the 8 euros. Highly recommended!

We had nice tour and catacombs are amazing. Too bad that only really small part is accessible by tourists. I could have used whole day wondering in there.

Beautiful and highly significant early Christian frescoes, presented by a friendly and knowledgeable guide. The shop and its selection of books in several languages was also a plus.

You will be missing out if you dont visit any of the catacombs of rome as there are plenty. Very vfm even for tourists on a budget(8,5€ for full 40min tour of the catacombs). You get a guided tour approx 40 min duration of the first level of the catacombs of priscila, as the deeper second level is closed many years now for archaeology projects. Our guide was amazing and explained everything in detail. Highly recommended to experience walking inside 2000 year old tombs and catacombs.Dont get lost!

Very interesting and a less known place in Rome. A nice guide who provided just enough information and a well organised tour. Stunning patio and garden, from where you can buy honey they make!

Very cool tour. Detailed background of Christianity in Rome and the catacombs. No photography allowed but beautiful frescos and a villa that is now underground where Christians used to pray in secret. Reserve tickets ahead of time.

Poorly organized groups, they allowed people to join the tours late and did not allow others who were waiting to get in. The tour was very brief, with Giovanni as our guide. He spoke very quickly and provided some brief information and rushed from one exhibit to another. He did not ask if the group had questions and did not have any in depth discussion. The place is fascinating but this guide did not make it a rich experience. It ended as abruptly as it started.

An incredible location. These catacombs house some incredible history. Not only are some popes buried here, there are also examples of the first artistic depictions of the Virgin Mary. Frescoes from 2000 years ago are plainly visible in their original colour. Guided tours last 45 minutes which felt short given that there are so many things to see. However, during the tour the guide is very detailed and shows the most important things.
