★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're visiting the city of Lecco and around and have some time for hiking and want to enjoy your time and relax and get cooled off (especially during hot Summer days) don't miss this place! To get there you should reach to Abbadia Lariana first, and then start to find a way to climb and get there (by utilizing Google maps for instance, or ask a local to help you how to reach there)! Don't worry if you're not a professional with special equipments, still you can hike and enjoy your day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a trekking with kids (6y old at least). The mountain path is not very easy, there are parts pretty difficult, but is nice. Take into consideration at least 4 hours for the round trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best way I think is in Linzanico district. Park in parcheggio gratuito in Via della Constituzione, see the parking using Google Maps as it is not that precise on Waze. After parking, walk few steps down, and you will see the lavatoio, in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII, you will see the sign of the direction going up to Cascata del Cenghen, just follow the path of the signs and directions along the way. A good hiking experience for children aged 5 and up. We loved it! — family of 4 with 12 year old and 5 year old. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great walk. Took us about 1.5 hours to reach the falls from where we parked on Via Della Costituzione. A good walk up stone steps and path with beautiful flowers and stone structures to see along the way. Safe for children. Our daughter is 12 and managed it. Saw kids muh younger along the way. The falls itself are magical. Bring a light jacket as the temperature does drop at the falls.
