La casa è infatti su due piani ed è stata costruita dal primo sindaco eletto dal neocostituito comune di Alberobello
 Almost anonymous monument today, it is instead important for the history of the city. This is the first house built in masonry as soon as the rights of the Count of Conversano have been repealed. The house is in fact on two floors and was built by the first mayor elected by the newly established municipality of Alberobello

Et, le nom figurant sur la signalétique du balcon , est celui du propriétaire de l'endroit. À remarquer également sur le dôme de lauses en arrière plan, un escalier pour monter jusqu'au faitage.
It's not Romeo on the conical roof wanting to join Juliet, but just a contemporary sculpture. And, the name appearing on the signage of the balcony, is that of the owner of the place. Note also on the dome of lauses in the background, a staircase to climb to the ridge.
