It is one of the kind! I am out of words to explain how fabulous the dishes are.
And if it is not enough... you should see the Grapas' menu

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For my first ever Italian meal in Italy, I let Google take the wheel and suggest this place to me, and boy I'm really happy I did! The staff are lovely, and some even speak English which I was very glad for, seeing that my Italian is quite frankly shockingly poor. For my starter I had the tuna and salmon tartar, with a healthy crust of pepper on top this is truly divine. My second course was from the Primi menu, and I had the sausage orrechetti - having recently had this dish in London I was keen to compare. And while the restaurant in London did a truly amazing job with this dish, Bottega Mia had it beat as this just melted in the mouth and felt rich and smooth in all the best ways. Lastly, one must follow up with a Lemoncello, as no Italian meal is truly complete without this lovely palate cleanser!
So, to sum up, I had a wonderful meal here, and while I can't compare to other Italian restaurants within Italy (yet), it certainly blows the top London Italian places out of the water :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant and relatively quiet dining in a courtyard across from Corpus Domini church. Highly recommend "grandma's gnocchi" and the zucchini flan. Good selection of wines by the glass. Excellent staff.

The course I had was spectacularly good, delicious from beginning to end. Dessert was good but not as amazing as the plate before.
Staff is very friendly and speak multiple languages. Good engagement with the customer but also know when not to.
One point of constructive criticism is to wait a bit longer with picking up the empty plates.
