R	Rossella Cantatore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Premetto che da tanti anni siamo clienti, questa sera , dopo aver ricevuto il menù al tavolo e dopo aver atteso solo 25 minuti richiamo l’attenzione di una cameriera che dopo poco torna per dirci che il tavolo accanto al nostro ( arrivati dopo di noi) era l’ultima ordinazione che avrebbero preso. Un atteggiamento veramente poco professionale e accogliente, avrebbero almeno potuto dircelo o comunicarlo in qualche modo. Ci avremmo messo poco, consumato e pagato come sempre , evidentemente questo periodo di magra con cui tutti ci siamo confrontati qui non l’hanno sentito. Ci rincresce perché eravamo assidui clienti ma dopo il trattamento ricevuto questa sera non torneremo mai più, scortesi e anche inospitali , sopratutto con noi che veniamo da 14 anni! Un consiglio per i gestori : a servire un tavolo che è mezz’ora che aspetta non ci vuole niente. Ci siamo sentiti proprio offesi! Niente , alla fine ci hanno accolto bene e con efficienza al Borderline , ottima location proprio sul mare! I state that for many years we have been customers, this evening, after having received the menu at the table and after waiting only 25 minutes, I draw the attention of a waitress who soon comes back to tell us that the table next to ours (arrived after us) it was the last order they would take. A truly unprofessional and welcoming attitude, they could at least have told us or communicated it in some way. It would have taken little, consumed and paid as always, evidently this lean period that we have all faced here has not felt it. We are sorry because we were regular customers but after the treatment received this evening we will never come back, rude and even inhospitable, especially with us who have been coming for 14 years! A tip for managers: to serve a table that has been waiting for half an hour, nothing is needed. We felt really offended! Nothing, in the end they welcomed us well and efficiently at the Borderline, an excellent location right on the sea!
E	Elisa Paoli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo aspettato 20 minuti per ordinare (non c'era molta gente) e alla fine abbiamo chiesto noi al cameriere...a tutti i tavoli hanno portato taralli, olive e arachidi, noi niente di niente (abbiamo ordinato due birre medie, 10 euro...gli altri tavoli degli aperitivi di 10-12 euro). Chiedo se è possibile avere qualcosa da mangiare e non arriva nulla, entro per chiedere nuovamente e sottolineo che non ho problemi a pagare l'extra, arrivano solo delle arachidi. Bah...servizio scadente, poco attenti al cliente ed impreparati, non consigliato We waited 20 minutes to order (there weren't many people) and in the end we asked the waiter ... to all the tables they brought taralli, olives and peanuts, we nothing at all (we ordered two medium beers, 10 euros ... the other tables of the aperitifs of 10-12 euros). I ask if it is possible to have something to eat and nothing arrives, I go in to ask again and I stress that I have no problem paying the extra, only peanuts arrive. Bah ... poor service, careless and unprepared, not recommended

My first day in Otranto, for sure, I will never be your client in the next month, nor all our group. and in the newspapers, you read that the region is loosing tourists (-40%) because of the scarcity of the services, and the rise of the prices in the last year's without any additional service (or just the basic ones). congrats! continue like that!

If you're after a drink, get a glass of sea water, I assure you, it will taste better. Along with the rude waiters, and thuggish owners, the bar-owners evidently can't take criticism, a recipe for disaster awaits those who are willing to risk it. Most of the owners replies here mention the "sea view" aspect, forgetting that this isn't actually their doing, but comes for free with the surrounding territory of Otranto. Many others call the reviewers a liar. Could it perhaps just be that your bar is in fact awful? This place is a joke. Enter at your own risk
J	Joe Mochan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure why this place gets such unfair reviews. We stopped for aperitivos with our two dogs on a Monday. Had a very tasty Mojito each and then a local craft beer. The usual selection of 3 snacks provided. Nice and sunny spot but plenty of shade under the umbrellas. Staff were friendly and checked that we had enjoyed our drinks.
