Si possono notare le fondamenta delle cosiddette "case dei poveri" progettate ai tempi di papa Simmaco, un edificio di epoca adrianea e vari lacerti, di epoche diverse pertinenti un grande cortile ad uso "industriale".

The set-up is of an excellent standard and allows you to get an idea of the medieval aspect of the courtyard and the portico that characterized the early medieval basilica built by John II.
You can see the foundations of the so-called "poor houses" designed at the time of Pope Simmaco, a building from the Hadrianic period and various fragments, from different periods pertaining to a large courtyard for "industrial" use.
